Life at the Lake

Martin Lake is located in beautiful west Michigan just 4.7 miles from Fremont, in Newaygo County. In addition to boating and fishing, the lake area offers opportunities to watch bald eagles, deer, geese, sand cranes, blue heron and other wildlife, and to stroll nature paths.

Fishermen will find a variety of fish, including perch, large mouth bass, small mouth bass, sunfish, bullhead, black bullhead, panfish, bream/bluegill, crappie, northern pike, yellow bass, and walleye here.
